Planet Coaster for Mac is now available for purchase on Steam and the Mac App Store for 44.99/£29.99/37.99 (base game). There are some distinct limitations on content, partly addressed by the inclusion of generic re-colourable blocks of various shapes and sizes, but there is, so far, no way to import your own models or textures. Most of the save information is stored in three locations from memory: 1. Planet Coaster - Ghostbusters Planet Coaster - Classic Rides. If you want to make actually themed rides you get quite a lot of extra pieces in the Spooky pack (for your Ghost train / Haunted Mansion type attractions) and the Adventure pack which just came out adds a great deal if you are interested in making stuff with an Indiana Jones / African Queen vibe. Players can customize the car, operator, and ride colors and also use in-game music that can play during the ride or provide their own. Trade scenery, rollercoasters and even entire parks with other players, and add the world’s wildest creations to your own park. Zephyrus is a wooden coaster that was introduced as part of the Vintage Pack. The construction of the coasters and so on is very easy but you can make some extremely complex rides if you want to spend the time. The 'game' is actually more of a Theme Park Architect than anything else. The design aspect is where the game really shines to be honest. Planet Coaster will require Radeon R9 380 graphics card with a Core i7-4770 4-Core 3.
